The best holidays ever

Chiloé, Chile

The best vacation of my life was when I went on a trip around the south of Chile 1 year ago. It was a whole week full of beautiful landscapes and a lot of joy with my whole family (dad, mom and little sister). I was able to get to know the incredible flora and fauna of my country.

During that week we did too many activities, such as hiking, horseback riding, going to the natural hot springs, visiting wonderful handicraft stalls, riding the ferry (to Chiloé), visiting small villages full of magic, eating delicious food and many more fun things.

For me this was the best trip, because I was able to travel around my beautiful Chile with my family, being them my favorite people in the world and making everything more fun. Also, during those 7 days I was able to meet a lot of good and kind people that made this trip much more enjoyable, always being this a very important point for me and that I value very much.

Time to travel to past or future

If I could choose to travel to the past or to the future, I would definitely travel to the future, approximately 100 or 200 years more. I would love to be able to see how much technology has advanced worldwide (in medicine, transportation, household appliances,) or how much people have evolved, either in our way of thinking to see if there is still sexism, animal abuse, racism, among other things that I do not like in today's society. I would also like to see if we could stop the advance of global warming or if we could reduce the levels of pollution on earth or see if it is possible to live on other planets and lead a normal life there. On the other hand, if I could decide where to stay in the future, I would probably choose the United States, basically because so far it is one of the biggest powers in the world and could have the most advanced technology. But if I were given the opportunity to stay in the future, I would not do it, unless I am allowed to go with my family, becaus...

A country I would like to visit

The country I would like to visit is Greece, especially its islands, such as Santorini, Skopelos, Skhiatos, among others. Since it is a country that has caught my attention since I was a child, for its incredible architecture and beautiful landscapes, basically since I first saw one of my favorite movies, called mamma mia, a musical that was filmed there. What I know about these islands, particularly Santorini, is that it was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, which gave it its characteristic rugged landscape. If I could go, I would like to swim in its beautiful beaches, eat its delicious food and take a boat ride around the place. Also, maybe when I am older and retire I would like to go and live there, so that I can enjoy my old age in this magical and incredible place. In conclusion, Greece is a country that everyone should visit at some point if we have the opportunity, either for its history or for its beautiful landscapes.

Changes to my study programme

Some changes that could be made to my program of studies is to reduce the academic load in some areas, especially in anatomical and biological bases of head and neck, where on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays we have classes of up to 3-4 hours, being very tiring and difficult to maintain concentration at the end of the class. In addition, the tests of this subject are up to 30 classes, being very difficult to study everything perfectly in the time given to us. However, in the other subjects I feel that the academic load is quite well distributed, having enough time to be able to study everything and also to understand the syllabus.  Regarding the infrastructure of the university, I feel that it is quite good, but it is true that they made some rooms too small or too few, considering the number of students that we are, having times where we had no rooms available and even once we had to have a class in the lab (the professor kept running from one side to another for everyone to liste...
